entwined

Entwined by Heather Dixon is a twist on a few classics ( Narnia and Cinderella ) its about these twelve princesses, mainly about the oldest princess who's name is Azalea. Everything seems to be going wrong for the princesses, their mother died, their father left for war, and since they are in mourning they are not aloud to dance. They feel like the world as an empty, never ending black hole until Azalea finds a secret passage in their fireplace that leads to magical world. They were walking through the magical land and saw a pavilion filled with dancers, one gentleman (what they call boys) caught every princesses eye. He was a graceful dancer and was wearing a "dashing black" suit. Little Ivy (one of the younger princesses) couldn't help but go in and make a scene. The gentleman in the black suit runs after them as they ran and simply invited them to tomorrows ball.
I think that the girls will end up going to the ball again. The way the author described it when the man offered it was almost like their was poison in it that will just make them come back. The girls even said "NO AZALEA WE NEED TO COME BACK" this scares me. The author described the world as if it was Narnia... we all know what happens in Narnia. I think that somehow they will get trapped in the magical world. I hope that never happens though.
