Go Ask Alice: themes and issues

                 Go Ask Alice by anonymous is a girls life story through her diary entry's. This girl ( they never mention her name ) has no normal life, not even close. The girl and her parents fight a lot because the girl thinks her parents are too controlling and I have to agree with her, I might agree just because i'm a kid too though. But this girl doesn't know that one night will change her life. Lets backtrack a little bit. For sumer break the girl went to visit her grandparents by herself and her friend calls her up to come visit because her other old friends are coming over, at the party they played a game called who got the button? The girl didn't know what the game was but she played, picked up a coke can a drank. Ends up 10 out of the 14 cans had a certain kind of drug in it, She was one of the 10... She got hooked instantly.
               The girl doesn't stop there. She wants to try other drugs too, she tried everything from pot to heroine. She liked the way it "made her feel." SPOILER ALERT if your going to read the book skip the it says end of the spoiler alert. Until she finally realized that it was taking control of her and making her so crazy that she even ran away! when she did that reality hit her in the head, she has to stop and so far she is back home and she was now clean, END OF SPOILER ALERT. I didn't finish the book yet so thats all i know, i hope for the best.
