The Fault in our Stars

The main issue in my book is the battle a cancer victim goes through. The author writes it well enough where you almost feel like you're the one going through it yourself. When you see the situation from the other persons point of view, you are able to see how the issue of fighting through cancer is dealt with.
The way the book explains it the main character Hazel is treated as if she is a really fragile package; they always double check for her oxygen tanks and double up and her mom almost never leaves her side making sure she is always okay. It also shows what they are internally thinking like when Hazel is thinking when she walks into places how she thinks people are judging her and what she like and doesn't like. The "cancer perks" and everything in between. It explains how the whole situation as a cancer victim goes for Hazel.
